Odd Vim Do

Odd Vim Do takes place from 19–21 September 2025 in East Beverley, on the unceded land of the Ballardong people of the Noongar nation.

The site is a rugged patch of Wheatbelt terrain - open, untamed and beautiful in its rawness, with dusty soil, salmon gums, and tufts of bushland scattered across the plain. A semi-remote, windkissed paddock with no existing infrastructure. It invites imagination and rewards preparation. We are deeply grateful that we were shown this place and to have the privilege of starting our story here, on ancient ground that always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

The exact location will be provided to ticket holders closer to the date. It’s about a 2 hour drive from Perth.

The essential info below will continue to be updated, so please check back regularly.

Tickets go on sale Monday 28 July at 6PM.

  • What to expect:

Odd Vim Do is 3 days and 2 nights of dancing on open ground; a world in the making, with music and community at its heart. It’s an unconventional gathering that leans into the fervor of the West Coast and celebrates the transformative power of music, togetherness, and our natural environment.

For this first edition, we’re proud to keep the lineup local, to honour the community that’s supported us all along. The program will be announced just as soon as it’s ready.

This is an intimate camping festival on a raw site with limited infrastructure. Think of it like entering an ecosystem: Shaped by all of us, dependent on each of us.

Our team cares deeply about how things look, sound and feel and the space has been thoughtfully designed with you in mind. All essential facilities will be provided and we’ll do our best to make you comfortable but you need to come prepared and be ready to look after yourself too.

    What we expect of you:

This is a community-led event and every person contributes to the atmosphere, safety, and experience of those around them. We expect everyone to:

    • Respect the land. We are guests. Leave no trace and treat the land with care. We will be asking everyone to clean up after themselves and do their bit.

    • Respect each other. Be kind, inclusive, and look out for one another. Harassment, aggression or discrimination of any kind won’t be tolerated - we have no time or space for it. If you are asked to leave, you will not be welcomed back.

    • Respect the crew. Volunteers and organisers are devoting their time and energy to make this happen.

    • Come prepared. Bring what you need to camp safely and comfortably.

    • Stay informed. We’re giving you all you need to know. You need to read it.

    • Be self-responsible. We encourage adventure and curiosity, but not at the expense of your safety or the wellbeing of those around you.

  • Odd Vim Do takes place on rugged, uneven terrain with limited infrastructure. If you have accessibility needs, please get in touch with us. We’ll do our best to accommodate mobility or health requirements where we can.

  • Fire safety is a top priority!

    • We’ll have a communal fire going for everyone to enjoy. This is the only fire on site.

    • To be clear - no personal fires are allowed. At all. Ever. This includes campfires, candles and any other open flame devices.

    • Gas cookers are okay unless we let you know that conditions are too risky.

    • No butts in the bush. No butts in the bush. No butts in the bush. There are areas you can smoke but please do not smoke anywhere near bushland. There will be clear signage.

Professional first aid staff will be with us all weekend and are ready to help. Their tent is easy to find.

A chill out space will be set up away from the stage where you can hang out or speak to someone if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Roaming friendly faces will be around at night too. This is an intimate gathering and someone will always be nearby if you need support.

  • Tickets go on sale at 6PM on Monday 28 July via Humanitix.

We’re working to a cost-neutral budget this year, aiming to keep our first gathering intimate and intentional, to ensure we do it right from the start. Even at a relatively small scale, there are a heap of unavoidable regulatory costs that come with meeting government requirements. The ticket price has been set as low as possible while balancing these costs. One day, we’d like to pay ourselves, but not this year. If we do manage to turn a small profit, we will be reinvesting it into the future of the project.

Ticket pricing is like this: $250 + BF

We’ve chosen to run with just one ticket price in fairness to everyone - it keeps things simple, transparent, and ensures that no one’s ticket comes at the cost of pushing someone else’s out of reach.
